Kundey Khangsar Tibetan Herbal Products Ltd. (KKTHP) has been granted temporary registration for the period of three years from 18th July 2012. This registration has been processed under the Rules and Regulations of Registration of Sowa-Rigpa, Tibetan Medical Pharmaceutical Company/Unit, established by Central Council of Tibetan Medicine, 2010. As per guidelines, Executive member of CCTM constitute a team of Inspection in which a member consist of one executive of CCTM, a member from Dept. of Health, CTA and a representative member from the Tibetan Welfare office, Dharamsala. On 30th June 2015, the team had visited to the pharmaceutical area and thoroughly inspected from the standard of raw materials to the final product of herbal medicine. The team has also enquired and checked the health and hygiene of all labor and other professionals involved, the overall environment in and outside pharmacy campus, the containers and utensil use for processing medicine and how the final product store up with all list and labels. The inspection team had submitted their report to the council and with the base of that report, executive member has resolved to extent permanent registration with the three year renewal from 19th July 2015 till 18th July 2018.
KKTHPL is now a registered pharmacy, holding registration number PR/U/01/2015, premises located at Sidhpur, Dharamsala, Kangra (H.P.) India. Under the direction of chief pharmacist Dr. Penpa Tsering la, there are currently ten working staff producing total 110 Herbal Medicines.
