On behalf of all the Tibetan Medical Practitioner, we the executive member of CCTM deeply condoles the demise of Dr. Pema Dorjee la (Reg. No. – CCTM/QMP/3001/2006) who passed away on 8th September 2015. Dr. Pema Dorjee was one of the senior-most and distinguished physicians in exile and has served the first Chairman of Central Council of Tibetan Medicine (CCTM) from January 2004 till January 2007. We deeply regrets of losing him and here to pay our sympathy to his family and the relatives. Our prayers always with his soul.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
- More than 38 years of experience in Tibetan Medical system
- Visited France in 1977 to speak on Tibetan Medicine
- First Tibetan physician to speak in the 1st International Dead sea Conference on Interaction between western and eastern medicine; a day long workshop in Televe, Israel, 1992
- Talk on Tibetan System of Medicine held at the MC Ghia Hall on Rampart Row at Kalaghoda organized by Friends of Tibet in 2002
- Directed various branch clinics of the Men-Tsee-Khang in Nepal, New Delhi, Dharamsala, Itanagar, Calcutta and Salugara, West Bengal giving consultations to more than hundreds of patients a day.
- Actively involved in medical camps; providing healthcare consultations to patients in various parts of India such as Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, the remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Mumbai and the southern parts of India
- Travelled extensively to the western countries giving consultations to patients and lectures at Emory university, Atlanta; Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, Nassau, Bahamas; Kohala, Hawaii; Minnesota, Federal University of Sao Paulo’s School of Medicine, Brazil, the Argentinean medical council, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chile’s Faculty of Medicine, Santiago Chile; the University of Americas, Instituto de Formacion Transpersonal Integral (IFTI) and Tribeca Culture Center; Peruvian University of Medical Sciences (Cayetano Heredia), Javeriana University, a private higher education Institution founded in 1623 by the Society of Jesus, and Yamantaka Buddhist center; Bogot Royal Hotel. The talk was organized by the Santa Fe Medical Foundation of Bogota for their members, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Brazil, Colombia, Thailand, Norway, London, Canada etc.
