Continuing Medical Education (CME)

CCTM is pleased to announce here the 6 Days Continuing Medical Education (CME) For Sowa-Rigpa; Tibetan Medical Practitioner. This program is fully funded by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India. The workshop will held at Dharamsala from 26th – 31st October 2015. There is a limited seat for the trainees and the trainee must register their name in written on or before 20th August 2015.

CME Guidelines according to AYUSH Schemes:

All the Trainee must read the following guidelines laid by AYUSH and CCTM.

1. Regarding Resource Persons and trainees

  1. The Number of trainees in each program should be 30 to the maximum extent as grants are released for 30.
  2. In all CMEs, trainees may be invited from all over the country and there should be all India representation in all programmes. In each programme not more than 5 trainees from each State are allowed.
  3. There may be 12 resource persons in a 6-day CME with 4 from the same institution/State and 8 from outside state.
  4. Every trainee is allowed to attend a maximum of two programs (CME) in a year.
  5. Institutions conduction CME have to provide best accommodation to resource persons and participants within the prescribed rates.

2. Regarding TA and other expenses

  1. No amount should be paid to trainees expect the reimbursement of travelling expenses, that too on actual basis as per rules subject to ceiling.
  2. The heads of the institutions who are organizing the CME should make the payment of TA only on production of original tickets by trainees or resource persons. The payment should be made as per CME guidelines or rate of tickets, whichever is less.
  3. In case of air tickets (allowed only by economy class apex tickets of Air India/Indian Airlines) the Head of institutions should ensure actual travel by the person (by examining the tickets) and take the photocopy of ticket and also original boarding pass, in the case of e-tickets before reimbursement and attach with TA bills.
  4. For return journey, Disbursing Officer should ensure the travel by claimant in the same class/Mode as claimed.
  5. Road mileage is allowed only for places not connected by rail. With regards to road mileage, actual rate but not exceeding approved rate under TA rules. Claimant should mention distance between the places.
  6. Places where connected by rail, the road mileage is limited to 2 AC rail charges or actual claim, whichever is less.
  7. Persons are eligible for food expenses If travels made by train/bus production of bills subject to a maximum of Rs 250/- per day. No food expenses are paid for travel made by Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Duranto trains and air tickets.
  8. Boarding and lodging charges Rs 18000/- per day per trainee for outstation trainees and Rs 250/- per day per trainee for local trainees will be applicable.

     TA/DA FOR EXPERTS:

  1. Travel expenses of OUT SIDE EXPERTS:
  • Actual fare or up to the rail fare of AC 2 tier class/ Economy Class Air Fare.
  1. Per day boarding & lodging charges of OUTSIDE EXPERTS – Rs. 3000 per person.
  • Per day boarding charges of LOCAL EXPERTS – Rs. 250 per person.

    TA/DA FOR TRAINEES:

  1. Travel expenses of OUTSIDE TRAINEES
  • Actual fare or up to the rail fare of AC 2   tier class, whichever is less.
  1. Per day boarding & lodging charges of OUTSIDE TRAINEES – Rs. 1800 per person
  2. Per day boarding charges of LOCAL TRAINEES – Rs. 250 per person.

 

3. Criteria for Resource Persons:

Teachers/Private Practitioners holding graduate degree with at least 15 years of clinical experience and eminent in the concerned subject/specialist

4. Criteria of selection of trainees:

Priority may be given to:

  1. Trainee who has attended less number of CME
  2. Trainee on the basis of seniority in service

 

REGISTRATION CRITERIA LAID BY CCTM:

  1. The Trainees must be a registered practitioner
  2. Registration up to date
  3. Paid all dues and fees
  4. Updated Bio-Data and Contact details
  5. Upgraded qualification degree
