Announcement – Election of 5th term Executive Members of the Central Council of Tibetan Medicine 

With due changes in CCTM Legal code of Article II Clause VIII “Term Duration” in the 11th session of 15th Tibetan Parliament, five year term duration has been amended to three years term.

Therefore, The Term duration of 4th Executive Board Members has come to an end and it is hereby required to elect the 5th term Executive Member of CCTM as per date scheduled for election. All the Registered Doctors under CCTM are requested to take part in the election as per the Election Guidelines. List of Registered Doctors, Registration Number and the Election Form are available and can be downloaded from the CCTM Official Website: www.tibmedcouncil.org

As per newly amended CCTM Legal code of Article II Clause VI “Executive members”

  1. One member physician from senior personal physician to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
  2. Four member physician from TMAI (Men-Tsee-Khang) including the principal of medical college if He / She are registered doctor, Chairman of high level medical & Astro. Council and other 2 candidates will be selected by physicians under same institute.
  3. Principal of Chagpori medical college.
  4. Head of the department of Medical & Astro. Varanasi.
  5. One member physician from Tibetan private doctors.
  6. Two member physicians from non-Tibetan doctors.
  7. One member physician from Sorig ’Bum bzhi lineage.
  8. One allopathic doctor directly appointed by Department of Health(CTA)

ELIGIBILITY OF CANDIDATE:

Representative of Tibetan physician:

  1. Registered under Central Council of Tibetan Medicine
  2. Update of Green book
  3. Candidate shouldn’t be declared mentally unhealthy by the legal court or doctors.
  4. He/she shouldn’t have personal debt.
  5. One should not have problem of legal dispute or criminal records.

Representative of Non Tibetan physician:

  1. Physician must be registered under Central Council of Tibetan Medicine
  2. Candidate shouldn’t be declared mentally unhealthy by the legal court or doctors.
  3. He/she shouldn’t have personal debt.
  4. One should not have problem of legal dispute or criminal records
  5. Citizenship holder of India or any other country

Voting Procedure and Duration:

The entire registered physician must cast their preliminary vote within 30 days of election announcement by E mail or through post via below address. One must clearly note down Candidates name with his / her Registration No. along with your own Registration No as given in the form. Once the preliminary election of the candidate is done, the entire registered physician must cast their final vote within 15 days of announcement.

If any of registered physicians voluntarily wants to take part in the election from their region/quota then he/she has to pay 1,000 rupee as fee with thereference letterfrom 10 different registered physicians.
