In exercise of the authority conferred by the section 9 & 10 of the Tibetan Medical Council act. 2003 of Tibetan Government in Exile, the Central Council of Tibetan Medicine has prepared a guidelines, registration form and rules and regulation for the registration of physician practicing Tibetan medicine. A physician who fulfils the criteria laid out in the registration policy will then officially register under the CCTM. Until August 2009 since April 2006, total 360 physicians have been registered under CCTM. Traditional Tibetan physicians, who have not yet registered under the CCTM may register themselves under the Central Council. One can either download or will get the Registration Forms and Rules & Regulations booklet directly from the CCTM office.
